Pakistan Legal United Society (PLUS) commemorated Pakistan’s Independence Day 2025 with women and juvenile inmates inside the jail with in collaboration with Jail Authority. The event was organized to share the spirit of freedom and national pride with those behind bars, ensuring that they too could feel included in the celebrations of this historic day. On the occasion, the national flag was hoisted, patriotic songs were sung, and speeches highlighted the importance of independence and unity. PLUS representatives also encouraged the inmates to view the day as a symbol of hope and a reminder of the possibility of a brighter future. The initiative aimed not only to celebrate the national day but also to foster a sense of belonging, dignity, and rehabilitation among the inmates.
